Freckles, Moles, and Sun Spots

**Added photo to please my fans...

Yep. This was going to be the name of my blog.  Luckily, one good friend told me, "No, Michelle, no." You may wonder why I might name my blog after skin disorders(?), but, if that is the case, then you do not know me well.  I have freckles, my husband has moles, and we have sunny spots (and sun spots) in our life.   Punny!?  "No, Michelle, no."  Thank you, Heidi!  So, I settled on my love for sweets, sweetness, and my sweetie to come up with the final title.

Miles and I celebrated our first anniversary on Saturday! We went to Reatta in downtown Fort Worth.  Since this was before the 100mph wind storms arrived in town, we were lucky to have a beautiful night on the roof there.  We both got big fancy meals, and it was fantastic.  Did you know that the Reatta can handle about an 80 person (yes, I asked) reception on the rooftop?  Well, we didn't either, but they do! And, did you know they have the audio abilities to allow a PA system for toasts, announcements, and.........karaoke!? Well, we didnt' either, but they do! Why someone would allow anyone to karaoke at their wedding reception is beyond me.  I seriously have never heard of such a thing.  Especially karaoke at a wedding reception in which not only the wedding patrons will be able to hear your screaching, but the whole restaurant is witness to the massacre of Kenny Chesney's "Big Orange Balls."  Oh my goodness.  Really, though, we had a special night celebrating our first year of marriage and our EIGHTH year together.  M&M!

Does anyone else's iPhone actually DIE when it dies? I was on a marathon phone conversation last night with Britney (sadly about work), so, naturally, I ignored all the warnings of my battery dying.  I hate when I do that because, as mentioned above, my phone literally must have to die, go to heaven, and then regain consciousness before it will get enough battery to even power up. By that time people tend to think you didn't just drop their call and you are, in fact, just being completely rude.  Britney didn't think that, of course.  She knows I don't intentionally do rude things, because I can't handle people being mad at me. :)

I am a first time blogger, so we'll see where the posts take us and how it all goes in time! Leave a comment and let me know what you think.
